Position Summary

The Case Manager serves as the primary coordinator between patients, law firms, physicians, and medical facilities. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to patients, law firms, physicians, and internal team members
Process and manage Letters of Protection (LOPs)
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and transportation when approved
Manage patient treatment plans and follow-up care
Process medical records, visit notes, imaging orders, and treatment recommendations
Coordinate referrals to specialists and obtain required approvals and documentation
Facilitate scheduling and coordination for surgeries, injections, and other procedures
Track underwriting approvals and obtain supporting documentation when required
Coordinate pre-operative clearances and post-operative follow-up
Communicate regularly with law firms regarding treatment updates and documentation
Coordinate scheduling for depositions, trials, and physician appearances
Manage Special Cost Estimates (SCEs) and related billing coordination
Follow up on active cases to ensure patients receive recommended care and treatment plans are completed
Handle a high volume of phone calls and email communications daily

Required Skills & Abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail
Professional and customer-focused demeanor
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Needles experience preferred but not required

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
Minimum of two years of customer service, legal, healthcare, or professional office experience (REQUIRED)
