Full Job Description

Medical Front Office Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, primarily 8:30 AM–5:30 PM. On the physician’s in-office day, the schedule may shift to approximately 9:30 AM–6:30 PM.

We are hiring an experienced Medical Front Office Manager to lead daily front office operations for a busy medical practice seeing approximately 20–30 patients per day. This role is ideal for a polished, patient-focused leader who can manage a small team, keep schedules running smoothly, and support a professional patient experience from check-in through checkout.

Responsibilities

· Supervise, train, and support a team of three front office staff members.

· Oversee appointment scheduling and help maintain efficient patient flow.

· Manage front office workflows including check-in, checkout, patient communication, and issue resolution.

· Support insurance verification, referrals, prior authorizations, billing support, and accurate patient records.

· Ensure office procedures, documentation, and patient information are handled accurately and professionally.

· Maintain compliance with HIPAA and standard healthcare office requirements.

· Use EHR and practice management systems to support daily operations and reporting.

· Partner with providers and leadership to improve communication, organization, and patient satisfaction.

Requirements

· 8+ years of experience in a medical office or healthcare administration setting.

· 8+ years of supervisory or management experience.

· Strong knowledge of medical front office operations, scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, authorizations, and billing support.

· Experience using EHR and practice management systems.

· Excellent communication, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

· Professional, patient-first approach with the ability to handle concerns calmly and effectively.

· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
