Senior Accounting Specialist

About Us

DCD Vehicle Corp is a growing manufacturer and distributor of electric golf carts and low-speed vehicles in the United States. We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Specialist to support our expanding operations in Dallas, Texas.

Position Summary

The Senior Accounting Specialist will manage daily accounting activities, financial closing, account reconciliations, inventory accounting, and manufacturing cost analysis. This role will work closely with the finance, purchasing, warehouse, logistics, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage general ledger transactions, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
Prepare financial reports, balance sheet schedules, and variance analyses.
Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash transactions.
Maintain accurate inventory, fixed asset, and cost-of-goods-sold records.
Assist with manufacturing cost accounting, including raw materials, work in progress, finished goods, labor, and overhead.
Review inventory adjustments, production variances, freight costs, and purchase price variances.
Support physical inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
Prepare documentation for audits, tax filings, insurance audits, and licensing applications.
Improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and reporting efficiency.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, banks, and other service providers.
Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least five years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, inventory accounting, cost accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Experience with month-end and year-end closing.
Understanding of U.S. GAAP and standard accounting practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Mandarin Chinese proficiency is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required.
Experience in automotive, electric vehicles, industrial equipment, or related manufacturing industries.
Experience with multi-state operations or rapidly growing companies.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
