Full Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Assistant/Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to support our financial operations and HR functions, ensuring smooth billing processes, accurate account management, and effective employee support. The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, and possess a strong foundation in accounting principles and HR procedures. You will play a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy, managing client communications, and assisting with human resources initiatives to foster a positive workplace environment.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections account management, and client communication to ensure timely payments.
Support HR functions by maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding documentation, and coordinating internal communications.
Provide excellent customer service through professional phone etiquette and prompt responses to client inquiries regarding billing or account status.

Skills

Strong understanding of accounting concepts including GAAP, SOX compliance, and technical accounting procedures.
Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; proficiency in Excel formulas and spreadsheet management for data analysis is essential.
Knowledge of accounts receivable management, collections strategies, credit analysis, and account reconciliation techniques.
Effective communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration; professional phone etiquette is required.
Basic math skills including debits & credits calculations; experience with 10 key typing is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within deadlines; familiarity with Microsoft Office suite is necessary.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
