TRAIL-EZE is seeking a skilled and dependable Welder/Fabricator to join our Platte manufacturing team. This position is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components used in the construction of heavy-haul trailers while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and craftsmanship.

Starting pay based on experience
- Fabricate and assemble metal components using welding equipment and gas torches.
-
Perform welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
-
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions using an iPad.
-
Maintain required tolerances and quality standards.
-
Position and secure materials using tables, jigs, clamps, fixtures, bolts, and tack welds.

Safely operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools.

Move workpieces, tools, and supplies manually or with overhead cranes.
-
Grind, finish, and prepare completed products.

Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects or quality concerns.

Repair or replace damaged components by removing and installing new parts as needed.

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Previous welding and fabrication experience preferred.

Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
