CNC Machinist Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC lathes and milling machines, with a strong understanding of machining processes and the ability to fabricate precision components. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. We would be willing to train individuals with mechanical background.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
Set up and adjust machining tools and equipment as needed for optimal performance.
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers to verify dimensions of finished products.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in operating lathe and milling machines.
Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
Experience with CAM programming is highly desirable.
Forklift operation experience is an advantage but not required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
