Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Private Family Chef specializing in healthy meal preparation to elevate the culinary experience within an exclusive household. This role involves crafting nutritious, delicious, and aesthetically pleasing meals tailored to the family’s dietary preferences and health goals. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of culinary expertise, exceptional kitchen management skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. As a key member of the household team, you will ensure that every meal not only meets nutritional needs but also delights the senses, fostering a vibrant and healthy lifestyle for the family.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute customized weekly menus focused on healthy, balanced meals that cater to dietary restrictions and preferences.
Prepare fresh, high-quality meals with attention to presentation, flavor, and nutritional value.
Manage all aspects of food production, including sourcing ingredients, inventory control, and ensuring freshness.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards throughout all kitchen operations.
Oversee kitchen management duties such as ordering supplies, managing inventory levels, and controlling food costs effectively.
Supervise kitchen staff or assistants when necessary, providing guidance on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Ensure seamless food service management during meal times, including serving meals professionally and efficiently while maintaining hospitality standards.
Implement food handling best practices in line with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment.
Coordinate with household staff for special catering events or family gatherings requiring fine dining experience or banquet-style service.
Lead by example in supervising team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on excellence in culinary delivery.

Qualifications

Spanish Speaking
Proven culinary experience with a strong background in healthy meal prep and dietary management.
Familiarity with food industry standards including food safety sanitizing procedures, inventory management, and cost control measures.
Strong knowledge of menu planning tailored to dietary restrictions such as gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, or other special diets.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage shifts effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Exceptional organizational skills for inventory control and kitchen operations oversight.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating seamlessly with household staff.
A passion for culinary arts combined with hospitality excellence and a commitment to health-conscious cooking practices.
