Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Grill Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality food items with precision and enthusiasm. Your energy and culinary skills will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests enjoy exceptional meals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food preparation expertise, culinary creativity, and passion for delivering outstanding food service. Whether grilling fresh ingredients or prepping components for service, your contributions will be vital in ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook grilled dishes and other menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in food prep activities, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients for service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations at all times
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and hygiene
Support menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring consistency in food presentation
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and efficient service
Handle kitchen equipment safely, including knives, grills, fryers, and other culinary tools

Requirements

Previous experience in a dietary department, dietary aide role, or restaurant environment is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with food industry standards related to serving, food safety, and kitchen operations
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
