HR Administrative Assistant/Generalist - TalentZök

2 to 3+ years of Human Resources experience
Bilingual English/Spanish skills
Flexible and able to handle a wide range of HR administrative support, generalist, and timekeeping duties
Experience with Kronos timekeeping audits and Workday HRIS preferred

FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an HR Administrative Assistant/Generalist to provide broad Human Resources support during temporary leave of absence coverage. This full-time, onsite role will support HR operations across multiple manufacturing locations and requires someone who can work independently while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, professionalism, and strong customer service. The ideal candidate will have HR experience, bilingual English/Spanish skills, Kronos timekeeping experience, Workday HRIS experience, and the ability to support employees, managers, records, onboarding, reporting, and general HR projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

Performing daily and weekly Kronos timekeeping audits to ensure employee time records are accurate and compliant
Processing and maintaining employee information within Workday HRIS
Providing day-to-day HR administrative support for multiple manufacturing facilities
Assisting employees and managers with HR-related questions, policies, and procedures
Maintaining accurate employee records
Ensuring confidentiality of sensitive employee information
Supporting onboarding and other HR administrative processes as needed
Preparing HR reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence using Microsoft Word and Excel
Assisting with various HR projects
Providing general administrative support to the HR department
Communicating effectively with employees, supervisors, and management across multiple locations
Supporting timekeeping processes and employee recordkeeping
Helping maintain organized HR files, documentation, and reports
Managing multiple HR priorities in a fast-paced environment
Providing professional and customer-service focused HR support
Performing other duties as assigned

The selected candidate will also possess:

2 to 3+ years of Human Resources experience required
Previous HR experience within a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish skills required
Hands-on experience with Kronos timekeeping systems, including timecard audits, preferred
Experience using Workday HRIS preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel required
Experience supporting multiple locations preferred
Knowledge of HR best practices, employee records management, and timekeeping processes preferred
Strong organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the HR team
Flexible and able to handle a wide range of HR administrative, generalist, and timekeeping duties
Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented approach
Ability to work onsite in Fontana, CA
Ability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Ability to support temporary leave of absence coverage for approximately 3 months, with the possibility of placement due to company growth

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods while reviewing HR records, timekeeping data, employee information, reports, spreadsheets, and HRIS details
Ability to communicate by phone, email, video meeting, and in person throughout the workday
Ability to review detailed employee records, timecards, HR documentation, reports, policies, procedures, spreadsheets, and computer screens for extended periods
Ability to use hands and fingers for typing, data entry, filing, scanning, reporting, and standard office tasks
Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout office or facility areas as needed
Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move standard office files, HR documents, binders, or supplies as needed
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive employee information
Ability to work in an office or manufacturing support environment while following applicable site procedures
