Staffing Branch Manager

Staffing Network is looking for a hard-working, result-driven, customer service-oriented recruiting professional to join our team. We are looking for an experienced Branch Staffing Manager to represent Staffing Network in Fontana, CA. This branch office services clients all around the surrounding area. We are looking for the absolute best to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall performance, growth, and profitability of the branch. This role leads all branch operations, recruiting, customer service, employee relations, compliance, safety, and financial management. The Branch Manager is accountable for driving revenue growth, developing staff, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering exceptional service to clients and temporary employees.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Branch Manager:

· Manage all facets of operations, including but not limited to recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, dispatching, invoicing, and billing to ensure staff and temporary employees meet performance standards and staffing requirements; must be completely acquainted with all procedures branch staff perform.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

· Partner with sales teams to identify new business opportunities and expand market share.

· Conduct client visits, service reviews, and workforce planning discussions.

· Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

· Deliver exceptional service temporary employees and monitor satisfaction, retention and engagement.

· Resolve escalated employee and client concerns promptly.

· Support initiatives that improve employee and client experience.

· Oversee daily branch operations and ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

· Manage recruiting, onboarding, assignment management, payroll processing, and employee records.

· Ensure accurate documentation and utilization of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

· Monitor branch productivity and operational metrics.

· Supervise the branch staff. Oversee the overall workplace environment including maintenance of a clean and organized office environment, fully equipped and with adequate supplies for the smooth operation of the branch, and staff schedules.

· Recruit, train, coach, and develop branch staff.

· Establish clear performance expectations and accountability measures.

· Conduct regular performance reviews and development discussions.

· Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven culture.

· Lead team meetings and communicate company initiatives effectively.

· Ensure recruiting efforts align with client workforce needs.

· Monitor candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and placement activities.

· Drive candidate engagement and retention initiatives.

· Maintain talent pipelines for key clients and high-demand positions.

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

· Maintain all onboarding and employment documentation requirements.

· Conduct branch audits and compliance reviews.

· Promote and enforce workplace safety programs.

· Partner with clients and internal teams to investigate and resolve workplace incidents.

· Develop an approved back-up and cross training program for all staff members in the event an employee is absent ensuring all major daily functions are adequately performed.

· Encourage and communicate company and branch short term and long-term objectives to all staff members while developing set action plans for meeting those defined goals.

· Conduct verbal and written performance reviews and assist in disciplinary action measures, when appropriate.

· Collaborate with other branch managers regularly to discuss and create innovative sales, marketing, or operational techniques for enhancing the productivity and performance of the branch while maintaining or increasing customer satisfaction.

Manage branch P&L performance.
Monitor revenue, gross profit, expenses, and budget goals.
Analyze financial reports and implement action plans to improve performance.
Ensure timely billing, payroll accuracy, and collection support.

· Able to identify and resolve operations, customer service, and employee relation problems effectively and immediately.

· Perform all other projects or duties as assigned by the Area Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities for the Branch Manager:

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Able to make quick, reasonable, and professional decisions

· Efficient multi-task individual; capable of working in a challenging environment; strong attention to detail

· High ability to manage employees in multiple work sites

· Sound sales and marketing skills

· Able to work independently and within a team

Qualifications for the Branch Staffing Manager:

· Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred

3–5+ years of staffing industry experience

· 2–3+ years of leadership or management experience

· Experience with various computer software programs including MS Word, Excel,

Outlook, and ATS

Proven success in sales, recruiting, operations, and customer service
Strong knowledge of employment laws, staffing operations, and compliance requirements

· Experience with Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

· Must have a valid driver’s license and car insurance

· Able to perform all the duties listed in the job description
