Full Job Description

The Human Resources and Documentation Analyst is responsible for supporting human resources operations, maintaining employee records and documentation, coordinating compliance activities, assisting with workers' compensation claims, and serving as backup support for payroll and timekeeping functions. This position ensures accurate recordkeeping, timely processing of HR-related transactions, and compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Human Resources Administration

Maintain and update employee personnel files and HR records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Support recruitment activities, including job postings, interview coordination, and applicant tracking.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and general employment matters.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.

Documentation and Records Management

Create, organize, maintain, and audit company documentation and records for accuracy and completeness.
Develop and update standard operating procedures, forms, and internal documentation.
Ensure proper retention, confidentiality, and security of employee and company records.
Generate reports and maintain databases related to HR, operational and Health/Safety activities.
Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and records.

Workers' Compensation Claim Support

Support workers' compensation claims administration under supervision of Sr HR Administrator.
Coordinate injury reporting processes and maintain accurate claim documentation
Communicate with employees, supervisors, insurance carriers, medical providers, and third-party administrators regarding claim status and required documentation.
Monitor claim activity, return-to-work programs, and modified duty assignments.
Maintain compliance with workers' compensation regulations and company policies.
Assist with incident investigations and preparation of required reports.

Payroll and Timekeeping Backup

Provide backup support for payroll processing and timekeeping administration.
Review employee time records for accuracy and completeness.
Assist with payroll data entry, corrections, and reconciliation activities.
Respond to employee questions regarding timekeeping, attendance, and payroll matters.
Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and company policies.
Coordinate with management to resolve timekeeping discrepancies and payroll issues.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in human resources, administrative support, or records management.
Experience supporting workers' compensation claims and preferred.
Knowledge of payroll and timekeeping systems and processes, iSolve experience a plus.
Familiarity with federal and state labor laws, including workers' compensation regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems, and database management.

Strong organizational and documentation management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in payroll, timekeeping, and HR information systems.
Ability to work collaboratively with employees, management, and external partners.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically.

Work Environment

Primarily office-based environment with occasional interaction in operational or production areas as needed.
Standard business hours with flexibility to support payroll deadlines and urgent employee matters when required.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
