Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Over the Road Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves long-distance transportation of goods across various routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage various types of freight. Experience with refrigerated trailers and dry van trailers is required.

Please note that our routes currently do not include the West Coast.

Responsibilities

Operate tractor-trailer units for long-haul deliveries across designated routes.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery schedules.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding commercial driving.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
Manage freight documentation and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License A (CDL) with a clean driving record.
No DUI or SAP
Experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers and various types of freight (refrigerated trailers, dry van).
Previous delivery driver experience (2 years)
