About the Position
We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and passionate Private Family Chef to join our household in Southwest Ranches, Florida. We are looking for someone who loves creating fresh, delicious, organic meals and enjoys working with high-quality, natural ingredients.
Our family values healthy living and nutritious food. One family member is a dedicated bodybuilder with specific macronutrient and performance nutrition goals, while the rest of the family enjoys balanced, wholesome meals made from fresh, organic ingredients.
This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is organized, proactive, and takes pride in preparing exceptional meals.
Schedule
Prepare breakfast each morning, then immediately prepare lunch to be ready for the family later in the day. Once both meals are completed, the chef may leave for the day until the scheduled evening dinner service (three nights per week)
- Monday through Friday
- Early morning arrival (approximately 5:30–6:00 AM)
- Prepare breakfast and lunch for the family
- Meal prep for snacks and grab-and-go options
- Return three evenings per week to prepare fresh dinners
- Occasional flexibility for family gatherings or special events is appreciated
Responsibilities
- Plan weekly menus tailored to family preferences and nutritional goals
- Prepare healthy breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks
- Create customized high-protein meals and meal plans for a bodybuilder
- Prepare balanced meals for children and adults
- Use fresh, seasonal, organic, and minimally processed ingredients
- Grocery shopping and sourcing high-quality ingredients (or work with groceries delivered to the home)
- Maintain an organized kitchen and pantry
- Properly label, store, and rotate prepared meals
- Ensure the kitchen remains clean and sanitary
- Accommodate food allergies, dietary preferences, and changing nutritional needs
- Introduce new recipes while respecting the family's tastes
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Private Chef, Personal Chef, Executive Chef, or Sous Chef
- Strong knowledge of organic, clean eating, whole foods, and healthy cooking techniques
- Experience preparing performance nutrition or bodybuilding meal plans is highly preferred
- Comfortable preparing meals for both adults and children
- Knowledge of gluten-free, Paleo, high-protein, and other specialized diets is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Professional, trustworthy, and respectful of the family's privacy
- Reliable transportation

- Meal planning and nutrition knowledge
- Experience calculating macronutrients
- Ability to prepare meals in advance while maintaining freshness and quality
- Creative with healthy recipes
- Knowledge of seasonal produce and organic sourcing
