Full-Time Medical Office Receptionist – Dermatology Clinic

About Us McDaniel Dermatology and Skin Surgery Institute is a busy, patient-focused dermatology practice known for a friendly team / Mohs Surgery/General Dermatology & Cosmetic services. We're growing and looking for an organized, personable Front Desk Receptionist to be the first face our patients see and the first voice they hear.

What You'll Do

Greet patients warmly and manage a high-volume, fast-paced front desk
Answer multi-line phones, schedule and confirm appointments
Check patients in/out, collect copays, and verify insurance eligibility
Maintain accurate patient records in our EMR system
Coordinate with administration and physicians to keep the schedule running smoothly
Handle referrals, prior authorizations, and general patient inquiries
Keep the front office organized, clean, and welcoming

What We're Looking For

1+ years of front desk/receptionist experience (medical office preferred, dermatology a plus)
Strong multitasking skills and comfort with a fast-paced environment
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
Familiarity with EMR/scheduling software ModMed/EMA a plus
Basic knowledge of medical insurance and copay collection
Reliable, punctual, and a team player

Schedule Full-time, Monday–Friday [add hours]. No weekends/evenings. (Adjust as needed.)

Compensation & Benefits

Salary starting at 17.50/hr but negotiable based on experience
