Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Pastry and Food Production Specialist to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality baked goods, pastries, and other food items while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your expertise in cake decorating, food preparation, and kitchen operations will help us deliver delicious treats and exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to bring creative culinary ideas to life in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of baked goods, pastries, and cakes following established recipes and standards.
Decorate cakes and desserts with precision, creativity, and attention to detail.
Assist in food preparation tasks including slicing, mixing, and assembling ingredients for various menu items.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support high-volume production needs.
Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and ensuring proper sanitation practices.
Support food handling procedures, ensuring all products meet safety standards and quality expectations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders while adhering to recipe specifications.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food production, baking, pastry preparation, or catering is highly desirable.
Strong knife skills and proficiency in cake decorating and pastry techniques.
Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in baked goods and other menu items.
Experience operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and refrigeration units.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
Prior restaurant or food industry experience is a plus; high-volume production experience is preferred.
