Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the kitchen by assisting with meal preparation and ensuring that all ingredients are ready to throw together a dish & cook. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
Perform meal preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and dicing vegetables and proteins.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
Cook & prepare meals to ensure timely delivery of meals during service hours and to guest satisfaction and Barrel 33's high standards.
Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure high-quality standards.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with experience in meal preparation within the food industry.
Knowledge of food service operations, including kitchen equipment usage and maintenance.
Proficiency in knife skills for efficient food preparation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with menu planning and dietary requirements is a plus.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Attention to detail in following recipes and maintaining presentation standards.
