Coastal Autism Therapy Center, Inc. is seeking experienced highly qualified Registered Behavior Technicians to provide direct applied behavior analysis services. This position is a permanent full-time benefited position. Applicants must possess an active Registered Behavior Technician credential.
Registered Behavior Technicians will be provided Applied Behavior Analysis Implementation Training related to Coastal Autism Therapy Center's protocol implementation and documentation systems. Registered Behavior Technicians that are hired by Coastal Autism Therapy Center, Inc. must be able to pass the BACB RBT Competency Assessment once the Applied Behavior Analysis Implementation Training has been completed. At Coastal Autism Therapy Center, Inc., our Registered Behavior Technicians are all supervised extensively to provide the most advanced ABA therapy services that are supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Registered Behavior Technicians at Coastal Autism Therapy Center, Inc., receive ongoing training, supervision and support from our BCBA. The BCBA provides session-by-session supervision, evaluation, training, and feedback.
Our Registered Behavior Technicians receive frequent ongoing training in the application of ABA techniques via weekly applied behavior analysis trainings conducted by the BCBA and/or supervised by the BCBA, one-on-one therapy supervised by the BCBA, and weekly clinical staff training's. To ensure quality of services provided by our behavior technicians, they receive weekly ABA Implementation Trainings. In addition to direct training provided, we also complete 100% weekly chart audit for all clients to review progress and ensure proper implementation of applied behavior analysis procedures and behavior reduction techniques are utilized to maximize our clients’ therapy outcomes. Coastal Autism Therapy Center, Inc.’s Registered Behavior Technicians are also provided access to third party continuing education trainings.
Registered Behavior Technicians receive extensive on the job training that will allow them to enhance their current knowledge of ABA Therapy, while introducing new concepts and ideas that will allow them to achieve maximum clinical care and provide the most effective therapy to clients. We provide our registered behavior technicians with a variety of opportunities to expand their career in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis to include training supervision required to become credentialed as a Qualified Autism Services Provider, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst or a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. All supervision hour training requirements are received here at Coastal Autism Therapy Center, Inc. to clinical staff seeking advancement.
Required Education and Experience
- Active Registered Behavior Technician credentials
- Completion of forty (40) hours Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and RBT Competency.
- CPR certification and First Aid required.
- Preferred at least 1 year experience working s a RBT with Autistic learners.
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education or related field preferred, but not required.
- Restraint training preferred; however, applicants who do not possess current training will be provided by Coastal Autism Therapy Center, Inc.

The ideal candidate must possess passion in choosing applied behavior analysis as a career path as a personal calling. A passion for helping individuals with autistic disorder and related conditions is imperative and expected when providing ABA therapy services to our clients from all of our registered behavior technicians. The position requires patience, a positive attitude, and good communication skills, as well as the ability to handle stress and time management in a busy atmosphere. Exceptional customer service skills are required. The candidate must also have the ability to work long and flexible hours.

- The ability to provide services in the center, home, school, and/or community to best meet the needs of the individual and their family.
- Implement programs as directed and supervised by the BCBA.
- Obtain continuing education opportunities to ensure they are up to date with the most current research on Applied Behavior Analysis by taking advantage of third party continuing education trainings available is encouraged.
- Have no prior criminal history and have a clean state, federal and national criminal background check completed.
- The ability to pass drug screenings.
