Leadership Opportunity for a Licensed Missouri Cosmetologist
Total Earning Potential Up to $75,000 Per Year
Sport Clips of Poplar Bluff is seeking a confident and motivated Assistant Manager to help lead our salon team.
This position is designed for an experienced stylist who wants more responsibility, stronger earning potential, and a clear path toward future management opportunities. You will continue working with clients while also helping guide the team, support salon operations, and create a workplace where stylists can perform at their best.
The Poplar Bluff salon is owned and operated by Jesse Keyser, an accomplished multi-unit salon operator with extensive experience building successful salons and developing team members into strong leaders.
In this position, you will partner with the Store Manager to:
- Help organize and direct daily salon operations
- Provide coaching and real-time support to stylists
- Encourage exceptional service and strong client relationships
- Help improve client retention, productivity, and retail performance
- Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members
- Support scheduling and staffing needs
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and professionalism
- Address client concerns with confidence and care
- Help create an accountable, energetic, and supportive team culture
- A licensed Missouri cosmetologist
- Experienced in providing professional salon services
- Comfortable taking initiative and making decisions
- Skilled at communicating with both clients and coworkers
- Positive, dependable, and team-oriented
- Interested in coaching and developing other stylists
- Motivated to grow into a Store Manager or higher leadership role
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
Previous management experience is valuable, but we will also consider experienced stylists who have demonstrated strong leadership potential.
Your compensation can include:
- Competitive hourly pay
