Picayune Physical Therapist: Want a full caseload, real mentorship, and a team that actually likes each other?

Southern Physical Therapy Clinic is hiring a Physical Therapist for our Picayune, MS clinic, starting as maternity-leave coverage around October 2026, with a strong intent to convert this into a permanent role if it’s a fit on both sides.

About Southern Physical Therapy Clinic

Southern is an outpatient private practice founded in 2019 with two locations: Picayune, MS and Slidell, LA, and about 25 team members. We treat patients across the lifespan under one roof with three disciplines: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. We believe good care starts with a team that genuinely likes working together.

About the Role

Step in to cover a teammate’s maternity leave beginning around October 2026
Treat a full outpatient caseload: primarily adult ortho/neuro; pediatrics is a welcome bonus if you enjoy it
Collaborate daily with OT and Speech colleagues, not work in a silo
When fully ramped, a typical full-time caseload is ~50–55 visits per week (initial evaluations count as 2 visits)
Participate in a no-gossip, talk-directly culture that holds a high standard from a place of support

Compensation, Schedule & Location

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year for full-time, plus production bonus
Schedule: 20–40 hours per week (leaning full-time); we can discuss the right fit
Location: Based in Picayune, with optional (never required) split time at our Slidell clinic
On-site only; no remote days

Requirements

Active or eligible Physical Therapist license in Mississippi
Comfortable building toward a typical full-time caseload of ~50–55 visits/week
1–2 years of outpatient experience preferred, not required
