Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, customer service, and administrative functions. This role is essential in ensuring efficient operations as well as maintaining strong relationships with our residents.

Duties

Manage daily operations of the community, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including Fair Housing and landlord-tenant law.
Utilize property management software, AppFolio, for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
Collect, post and deposit monthly rents as received.
Investigate delinquencies and produce legal notices as needed.
Handle leasing activities, including property showings, tenant applications, and contract negotiations.
Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospective tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving conflicts effectively.
Coordinate property maintenance requests and manage relationships with vendors.
Investigate work orders and perform light maintenance duties.
Facilitate the Maintenance Work-Flow and Unit-Turn processes.
Light cleaning of units at the turns.

Skills

Experience preferred; however, we are open to training a candidate who possesses the qualities and potential that we are seeking.

Strong understanding of conflict management techniques and customer service principles.
Proficiency in administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and office experience.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
Ability to demonstrate independent problem-solving skills.
Experience in property management or real estate administration strongly considered.
Knowledge of Appfolio preferred.

Hours: 20-25 hours per week - Evening and weekend availability required.

Compensation: This role will receive $20-$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
