Advanced Canine Development (ACD) is seeking a sharp, highly motivated, and community-minded Director of Client Services to join our growing pack in Punta Gorda! At ACD, we train dogs and empower their families. If you are an outgoing, sales-savvy professional who loves animals, excels at local networking, and wants to lead our client experience from first contact to lifetime community member, this is your dream role.
This position goes far beyond traditional paperwork. As our Director of Client Services, you are the powerhouse behind our customer pipeline and community presence. You will be responsible for turning warm inquiries into booked consultations, driving local brand awareness at community events, and establishing mutual partnerships with local businesses.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Sales Strategy and Lead Closing
- The Closer: Take the lead on answering and returning prospective client calls. You will confidently explain our premium training and boarding programs, build deep trust with pet parents, and close the sale to get them booked for in-person meetings.
- Pipeline Management (GHL): Own our GoHighLevel (GHL) lead-tracking system, maintaining an organized, proactive follow-up schedule so that every interested family receives world-class communication.
B2B Networking and Community Growth
- Chamber Representation: Serve as the proud face of ACD at local Chamber of Commerce meetings, networking groups, and professional mixers to expand our local footprint.
- Local Partnerships: Get out into the community to meet with veterinarians, pet groomers, and local businesses to create mutually beneficial referral partnerships.
- Lead-Gen Event Mastery: Plan, set up, and host local marketing events and open houses for ACD. You will enthusiastically work our event tables, strike up conversations with dog owners, and systematically capture high-quality new leads.
Facility Administration and Operations
- Calendar Architecture: Oversee the ultimate balance of our master schedule, booking client evaluations and matching client timelines with trainer availability.
- Business Operations: Manage the daily administrative health of the company, including tracking and ordering office supplies, and ensuring our electronic client files remain completely secure and organized.
- Culture and Environment: Work with the Front Desk Coordinator to maintain an immaculate, polished, and premium front-office environment that reflects the elite quality of our brand.
Job Requirements
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in an administrative management, high-touch sales, B2B networking, or local event marketing role. Experience within the pet industry or medical/veterinary practice management is a massive asset.
- Sales and Outreach Prowess: A proven, confident track record of outbound calling, handling client objectives, and closing premium-tier service packages.
- Natural Networking: Exceptional interpersonal skills. You should genuinely enjoy public speaking, building business relationships, and representing a brand in public forums like the Chamber of Commerce.
- Tech Literacy: High level of comfort navigating modern computer software, including Google Workspace, social media channels, Canva, and client relationship databases (GHL experience is highly valued).
- Canine Passion: Deeply comfortable working in an active canine environment alongside dogs of all sizes, tempers, and breeds.
