Positions Available Window & Door Installer
Ideal for experienced installers who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in delivering quality installations.
Lead Window & Door Installer / Foreman
Ideal for experienced lead installers who can manage projects, direct installation crews, mentor team members, and ensure every project meets the highest quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Install residential and light commercial windows and doors with precision and professionalism.
- Safely remove and replace existing windows and doors.
- Protect customer property by properly preparing the work area before installation.
- Measure, cut, fit, and install products according to manufacturer specifications and Florida Product Approval requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and installation instructions.
- Perform caulking, flashing, sealing, weatherproofing, trim work, and glass installation.
- Troubleshoot field conditions and resolve installation challenges.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
- Take and upload installation photos documenting each phase of the project.
- Complete required project documentation using Google Drive.
- Maintain company tools and equipment.
- Represent D&D Window Solutions professionally with customers.
Additional Responsibilities for Lead Installers
- Lead residential and light commercial installation projects from start to finish.
- Direct daily workflow while working alongside the installation crew.
- Plan job-site setup, material flow, and project sequencing.
- Train, mentor, and develop installers through hands-on coaching.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and inspection requirements.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and project managers.
- Promote a positive team environment focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
QualificationsInstaller
- Minimum 2 years of window and door installation experience preferred (construction experience considered).
- Strong carpentry, remodeling, or trim experience is a plus.
- Experience using power tools including drills, saws, and other construction equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and installation specifications.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working outdoors.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Lead Installer
In addition to the qualifications above:
- Proven experience leading window and door installation crews.
- Strong background in carpentry, fabrication, and construction site management.
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and organizational skills.
- Ability to make sound field decisions and solve installation challenges.
- Commitment to producing high-quality work while maintaining safety and efficiency.
