Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will help ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely while meeting quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining equipment and contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other automated equipment to produce precise parts according to technical specifications.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to determine machining requirements.
Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance.
Conduct dimensional measurements using precision instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper handling of materials and use of personal protective equipment.
Collaborate with team members on fabrication tasks, assembly line processes, and materials handling to meet production goals efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting.
Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints.
Ability to read mechanical blueprints and understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) for precise machining.
Experience with shop math, including basic calculations necessary for machining and fabrication tasks.
Mechanical knowledge related to machine operation, troubleshooting industrial equipment, and fabrication processes.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges for quality control.
Ability to operate forklift or other material handling equipment is a plus.
Strong safety awareness aligned with industry standards in manufacturing environments.
Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is preferred; familiarity with assembly lines and packaging processes is advantageous.
