Full Job Description

About the Role

As a Value Stream Operations Manager, you will serve as the primary leader for our manufacturing production lines, driving operational excellence and team performance. You will be responsible for optimizing workflows, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to meet ambitious production targets.

Responsibilities

Direct daily production activities to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives.
Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, SMED, and Kanban to eliminate waste and improve throughput.
Supervise, coach, and develop production personnel to ensure high engagement and operational accountability.
Ensure full compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards through rigorous process control and documentation.
Analyze operational KPIs such as OEE and scrap rates to implement data-driven problem-solving solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Maintenance, to minimize downtime and execute process improvements.
Manage resource allocation, including labor and material utilization, to maximize cost-efficiency and production output.
Oversee change management and new product integration, including APQP, PFMEA, and PPAP validation processes.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership or production management role.
Strong expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to manage production scheduling, labor efficiency, and operational budgets.
Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques such as 5 Why and Fishbone diagrams.
Solid understanding of quality management systems and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Skills

Direct experience with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 certification environments.
Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, and new product introduction workflows.
Strong data analysis skills using ERP or MES systems to drive performance reporting.
Experience in high-volume assembly or complex manufacturing value streams.
