Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part Time HR Generalist to join our dynamic Human Resources team. In this role, you will support a wide range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance management. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive workplace environment, streamline HR processes, and ensure organizational goals are met efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic HR initiatives while gaining valuable experience in human resources management.

Responsibilities

Assist with talent acquisition efforts by supporting recruiting activities, conducting interviews, and maintaining applicant tracking.
Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the organization.
Support employee evaluation processes and discipline through performance management documentation and feedback collection.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation claims.
Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations such as FMLA, ADA, and OSHA standards by updating policies and conducting audits.
Contribute to HR projects related to organization design, succession planning, affirmative action planning, and change management initiatives.
Handle confidential personnel information with integrity while supporting HRIS data entry and HR systems.

Qualifications

Proven experience in human resources management or HR department roles with a focus on employee relations and personnel administration.
Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance, and regulatory requirements such as FMLA and workers' compensation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively and handle sensitive information discreetly.
Experience supporting recruitment efforts and conducting interviews confidently.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in data collection and entry.
