Position Description
Position Title: Destructive Operator
Overall Responsibility: Destructive Operator must understand the testing requirements of the clients and the procedures that control the testing and reporting efforts. If there are any questions or uncertainties, these are directed to the manager for clarification.
Duties:
· Must learn and understand the different standards (AS9100 when applicable) for devices under test.
· Must always keep a clean environment on his or her desk.
·Performs detailed inspections on DUT (devices under test) to maintain a steady on-time flow in production.
· Knows how to take the necessary pictures and be able to tell which tests aren’t applicable for the DUT.
· Knows how to fill out a report for TALON.
· Must promptly notify management of damaged or malfunctioning Destructive equipment.
· Cleans and maintain test equipment to ensure proper functioning and on time production.
· Ensures that previous departments are complete with testing before beginning with DUT.
· Develops and helps implement new ideas through the GLOBAL ETS Continuous improvement process.
· Must know how to use the different equipment when dealing with parts i.e.: Acid machine, Beaker Acid, Blow torch, Vice Grips, Grinder and Oven.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Destructive manager.
Experience: Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or test environment (preferred not required)
Financial Responsibility: Is responsible for ensuring that any damage to customer parts is minimized. Handles all equipment and tooling with care to prevent damage or unnecessary repairs.
Contacts: Involves contact with individuals inside the company where the nature of the information provided usually follows an established pattern.
Judgment and Decision Making: Must understand the testing requirements of the clients and the procedures that control the testing and reporting efforts. If there are any questions or uncertainties, these are directed to the manager for clarification

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
