Make a Difference as a Direct Support Professional in a Residential Group Home!

We're seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our team in a residential group home setting. You'll play a vital role in helping the individuals we support reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who is organized, adaptable, confident, and a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to responsible behavior and self-determination.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will:

* Promote the development of functional skills, independence, inclusion, and individualization for the people we support.

* Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities and basic physical care in a safe and comfortable environment.

* Maintain accurate and timely records.

* Educate and assist individuals with their daily needs.

* Contribute to a clean and sanitized home environment.

* Prepare meals.

What you'll bring:

* High school diploma.

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare or childcare.

* Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening.

* Completion of all required trainings.

* Preferred: Direct Support experience.

* Preferred: Experience with behavior focus.

This position requires the ability to safely lift and transfer individuals weighing up to 75 lbs, as well as assist with physical mobility and daily living tasks. Applicants must be comfortable with physically demanding work. Will that be okay?
