Haley Ward is looking for a CAD Drafter / Designer for our Southeast Division. The CAD Drafter / Designer will perform computer-aided design and drafting for preparation of engineering drawings for permitting and construction purposes, assisting engineering and survey division including but not limited to: creation of erosion control, paving, grading, drainage, water, wastewater, signage and striping, maintenance of traffic, details, sections, plan / profiles, for Civil-Site projects.

What you can expect to be doing:

Working with engineers to develop drawing content and presentations
Analyzing sketches, notes, layouts, details, and verbal instructions to determine the best approach for completion of drawings
Assisting in review of shop drawings prepared by outside vendors/suppliers to confirm materials are in compliance with the design drawings
Applying company CADD standards and procedures for layering, sheet layout, etc.
Coordinating details and dimensions between drawing sheets

What you will need to succeed:

Minimum of five years of experience in Civil-Site drafting.
Knowledge of drafting principles and plan set assembly is required
Working knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, Civil 3D, AutoCad, Revit is required

A criminal background check and driving record check will be conducted.
