Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy dental clinic. This energetic role requires a proactive leader who can oversee administrative functions, manage staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimize the patient experience. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for healthcare management, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive, efficient work environment. As a key member of our team, you will drive practice growth and uphold the highest standards of dental care delivery.

Duties

Oversee all administrative operations, including scheduling, patient records management, and billing processes.
Supervise clinic staff, including dental assistants, receptionists, and hygienists, ensuring effective team collaboration and performance management.
Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and billing accuracy to support practice profitability.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare standards related to medical records, patient confidentiality, and safety protocols.
Coordinate with insurance providers and managed care organizations to facilitate claims processing and utilization management.
Support human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives.
Optimize clinic workflows, enhance efficiency and patient care quality.
Monitor clinic operations to ensure seamless patient experiences.

Requirements

Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within a dental setting.
Strong supervisory skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
Proficiency in dental office software such as Dentrix Ascend or Eaglesoft.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively across administrative and clinical functions.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
