We are seeking highly skilled and enthusiastic Advanced Math Instructors to join our Grand Rapids center. You will work with students of all ages, using our proprietary Mathnasium Method to build their confidence and mathematical understanding. Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging mathematical instruction using the Mathnasium Method.

Provide individualized support in a small group setting.

Encourage and motivate students during sessions.

Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Create a positive and fun learning environment.

Communicate student needs to the center leadership.

Assist with non-teaching tasks as needed.

Become proficient with digital educational tools.
Qualifications:

Strong math skills, proficient through at least pre-calc.

A passion for math and working with students.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to inspire and maintain enthusiasm in teaching.

Willingness to learn the Mathnasium Method.

Reliable and responsible in fulfilling duties.

Must be eligible to work in the USA.

Background check and math literacy test required.

Our teaching method, the Mathnasium Method, is the life’s work of Larry Martinek, Mathnasium’s Chief Instructional Officer and a teacher and math teaching consultant in the Los Angeles area for more than 35 years. The Mathnasium Method uses a time-tested, customized program which stems from a unique assessment to identify what students need to improve their math skills. We offer personalized instruction, proprietary worksheets, and games to build Number Sense and provide a fun and supportive environment in which children can learn and practice math.
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 / hour
