About the Role
As our Corporate Scheduler, you will act as the central authority for managing and optimizing integrated project timelines across our various business units and skilled trade initiatives. By collaborating closely with Estimating, Operations, Project Management, and site Superintendents, you will ensure that our project execution remains efficient, safe, and fully aligned with contractual obligations. This position is vital for maintaining realistic project roadmaps and maximizing our overall workforce capacity.
Your Impact
Project Scheduling & Controls

Create and manage comprehensive, logic-based timelines for industrial, mechanical, and piping trade projects.

Define baseline schedules to help the team measure progress against key project milestones.

Evaluate potential schedule delays and recovery strategies to ensure leadership stays informed of project health.
Resource & Workforce Planning

Assist in forecasting labor needs to help maintain optimal staffing levels across our active project portfolio.

Identify potential resource bottlenecks and suggest effective solutions to keep projects moving forward.
Cross-Project Integration

Build master schedules that unify multiple recurring programs and complex project requirements.

Coordinate fabrication timelines and material deliveries to ensure subcontractor schedules remain synchronized.
Reporting & Communication

Deliver clear schedule dashboards and look-ahead reports to keep project teams and stakeholders aligned.

Provide transparency regarding schedule risks and mitigation tactics to support better decision-making.

Participate in client-facing coordination meetings to represent our scheduling strategy.
Process Improvement & Standards

Develop consistent scheduling procedures and templates to improve our operational efficiency.

Deploy advanced scheduling systems to enhance the accuracy and reliability of our data.

Educate field leadership on scheduling best practices to foster greater team accountability.
Risk Management & Change Control

Assess how scope changes and unforeseen site conditions impact the overall project timeline.

Track all schedule modifications in a formal log to ensure project documentation remains precise.

Provide data-driven support for claims analysis whenever project delays occur.
Requirements
Education & Experience
-
Possess 3 to 7 years of experience in project controls or scheduling within the construction or skilled trades sector.

Demonstrate a history of managing complex, multi-project portfolios.

Show proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.

Apply a deep understanding of field operations, labor productivity, and construction sequencing.

Utilize experience with project management or ERP software platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Hold a professional certification from PMI or AACE, such as a PMI-SP or PSP.

Bring relevant experience from the piping, mechanical, or industrial construction industries.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
While this role is based in a professional office setting, you will occasionally travel to active job sites. These site visits may include exposure to loud environments, uneven ground, and changing weather conditions. You must be comfortable working at a computer for long durations and traveling as required.
