Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Manager/Head Chef, where your leadership and culinary expertise will drive the success of our food operations. Duties

Lead and supervise kitchen staff and foster a collaborative and motivated work environment
Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to ensure consistency with menu standards
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize costs
Plan menus that reflect seasonal ingredients, dietary requirements, and customer preferences while maintaining profitability
Enforce strict food safety sanitizing procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations across all kitchen operations
Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional guest satisfaction
Monitor shift management activities, including scheduling staff shifts, training new team members, and evaluating performance

Skills

Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining and catering environments
Proven supervising experience with demonstrated leadership in managing diverse kitchen teams
Knowledge of food production processes, food handling safety standards, and sanitation procedures
Skilled in inventory management, cost control, and food service management to maximize efficiency and profitability
Experience in menu planning tailored to dietary needs and customer preferences
Strong understanding of kitchen management systems including inventory control tools and food safety protocols
Excellent communication skills to lead teams effectively and coordinate with front-of-house staff for seamless service delivery
