SE Portland, OR 97266
$20/hr Weekdays | $23/hr Weekends | Weekly Pay

BrightStar Care is hiring an caregiver for a one-on-one client case in SE Portland, OR 97266.

The client is a Mandarin-speaking individual who communicates primarily in Chinese Mandarin and can only answer simple questions in English. The caregiver will assist with daily transportation to Portland-area appointments, companionship, and light household tasks.

Important Location Requirement

Applicants must live in Portland or the immediate surrounding area due to the transportation needs and schedule consistency required for this case.

Schedule

Ongoing shifts available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:45 AM – 3:00 PM
Additional flexible shifts may be available

Pay & Benefits

$20/hour for weekday shifts
$23/hour for weekend shifts

Job Responsibilities

Communicate using simple English with a Mandarin-speaking client

Provide dependable companionship and support

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience
Reliable transportation and dependable vehicle
Clean driving record with no major violations
CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Authorized to work in the United States
Fluent in Mandarin is preferred but not required

Mileage reimbursement may be available when using your own vehicle
