This individual plays a critical leadership role in overseeing clinical operations across Active Path’s TMS, Spravato, and medication management programs. This is a hybrid leadership role in which the manager is expected to maintain accountability for staff performance, scheduling, quality, compliance, and operational outcomes, while also providing routine frontline coverage during staffing shortages.
The ideal candidate is a steady, thoughtful leader who brings both clinical expertise and a systems mindset—someone who can balance patient care, regulatory responsibility, and team support while helping the organization continue to grow in a sustainable way.
You will be responsible for:
Role Mastery & Leadership Development
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of all Mental Health Technician responsibilities by successfully performing each aspect of the role with consistency and excellence.
- Demonstrating proficiency in clinical workflows, patient care, treatment protocols, and operational procedures across all service lines.
- Building the knowledge, judgment, and leadership skills necessary to support future department leadership responsibilities.
- Serving as a resource and mentor to team members by modeling best practices, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach.
- Partnering with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement, operational excellence, and team development.
- Assuming increasing leadership responsibilities based on demonstrated performance, organizational needs, and readiness.
Clinical & Program Leadership
- Providing leadership and oversight for TMS, Spravato, and medication management services, ensuring care is delivered safely, consistently, and in alignment with clinical standards.
- Partnering with clinical leadership to develop and refine workflows for patient assessment, treatment initiation, monitoring, and follow-up.
- Stepping in to provide direct patient care as needed to support the team and maintain continuity of services.
- Ensuring compliance with all REMS, DEA, and applicable state and federal regulations related to controlled substances and clinic safety.
Team Leadership & Culture
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting a multidisciplinary team, including mental health technicians and program coordinators.
- Fostering a culture rooted in trust, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conducting regular check-ins, performance evaluations, and development planning to support both individual growth and team effectiveness.
- Supporting staffing coordination, including scheduling, coverage needs, and time-off planning, with attention to sustainability and fairness.
Standard Operating Procedures & Quality
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining clear, practical SOPs that support safe clinical practice, regulatory compliance, and operational consistency.
- Regularly reviewing and updating SOPs to reflect evolving evidence, regulations, and organizational needs.
- Leading quality improvement efforts and internal audits to strengthen care delivery and operational performance.
Medication & Inventory Stewardship
- Overseeing medication inventory processes, including ordering, storage, tracking, and reconciliation for Spravato and other controlled or specialty medications.
- Working closely with pharmacy partners and internal teams to ensure appropriate stock levels, accurate documentation, and regulatory alignment.
Cross-Site Coordination & Communication
- Supporting consistent clinical practices across multiple sites while remaining responsive to local needs.
- Serving as a connector between clinical teams, operations, leadership, and external partners to ensure alignment and clear communication.
Documentation & Reporting
- Ensuring accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EMR and related systems.
- Preparing and sharing clinical, operational, quality, and compliance insights with leadership to support informed decision-making.

Other Duties, as assigned
You will be successful, if:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- You have 3–5 years of clinical experience, including demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibility, required..
- You possess a current BLS certification.
- You have an active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) license.
- You have at least 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
- You have experience managing medication inventory and controlled substances.
- You have experience developing and implementing SOPs and clinical workflows.
- You have experience supporting multi-site or cross-functional healthcare teams.
- You are able to travel between clinic locations, as needed.
- You have experience with TMS and/or Spravato (esketamine) programs, preferred.
- You possess familiarity with REMS programs, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement frameworks, preferred.
- You are comfortable working within EHR systems and using data to inform clinical and operational decisions, preferred.
- You have a thoughtful, steady leadership style with strong communication and relational skills.
- You demonstrate the ability to balance clinical excellence with operational realities.
- You possess strong organizational judgment and decision-making capability..
- You have experience managing medication inventory and controlled substances.
- You are experienced in developing and implementing SOPs and clinical workflows.
- You have a history of supporting multi-site or cross-functional healthcare teams.
- You possess experience with TMS and Spravato (esketamine) programs, preferred.
- You demonstrate a collaborative mindset and are comfortable working across disciplines and leadership levels.
- You possess a deep commitment to patient-centered care, team well-being, and continuous improvement.
- You have the ability to bring organizational skills to the clinical environment.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including listening and speaking, to reassure and guide patients.

- You have demonstrated experience working with patients in a behavioral health setting.
- You are experienced working with patients who suffer from depression and anxiety, preferred.
