We are searching for an experienced, reliable addition to our versatile team; that will provide superior customer service while performing multiple functions at busy small multi-physician specialty office. Must be extremely detail oriented, organized, team player, capable of working independently and have strong multi-tasking skills. Preferred skills: previous medical front/back experience, proficiency in EPIC or other EMR Systems, insurance verification/authorization, good handwriting, excellent problem solving and computer skills and be able to sit for 6-7 hours. Bilingual in Spanish and medical assistant experience preferred. Must pass drug screening/background checks. Permanent Part Time 16-24 hrs work days Tues front office, Th-F back office administrative patient care medical assistant. Shift hours 8 am-4pm. Limited benefits.

Duties include but not limited to:
*Familiarity with multi-line phone systems
*Schedule office appts for 4 providers, surgery appointments for 2 providers
*Check in & out patients, update registration in electronic medical record
*Insurance verification, Insurance Surgical Prior Authorization
*Prepare patient charts for appointments
*Work as Administrative Medical Assistant - test results, order tests, room patients
*Provide support and coverage for other team members

Summary

As a Front Office Patient Coordinator, you will be essential in delivering outstanding patient service and managing front desk operations. As Back Office Patient Coordinator will be responsible for making sure provider orders are processed, schedule surgeries, verify benefits and PA is obtained for surgery, communicating with patients to provide outstanding patient care, may be required to provide direct patient care as needed. Reporting to the Office Manager, your core skills in medical administrative support and experience as a medical receptionist will ensure efficient patient flow and accurate medical records management. Your bilingual abilities in Spanish will enhance communication with diverse patients. Utilizing premium skills in Epic and computer proficiency, you will facilitate seamless interactions and uphold HIPAA compliance, contributing to a positive patient experience in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
