Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with ARDMS or equivalent credential
Competency in general ultrasound imaging protocols and procedures
1+ year of recent ultrasound experience in a hospital or clinical setting
A thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principles
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to quickly adapt to new environments and workflows

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct general ultrasound studies as ordered by medical staff
Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment
Prepare and position patients for optimal imaging results
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to interpret and communicate findings
Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures
Ensure imaging areas comply with safety, quality, and privacy standards
