PlainsCapital Bank is seeking a Branch Manager to be responsible for leading the overall performance of the branch including sales, service, operations, and risk management, while driving business growth and relationship sales management. With a strong emphasis on external business development and relationship management, the Branch Manager II actively partners within the community and drives referral activity across the organization. This role holds full accountability for branch performance, operational integrity, and customer service excellence, while serving as a local market ambassador, driving customer relationship growth and LOB referrals, and partnering with branch lenders/presidents and other lines of business to develop and execute strategies that achieve branch profitability.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. For degree, Business or related field preferred.
5 or more years of related experience in banking with at least three years of previous supervisory experience in a branch setting.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Federal Reserve and other regulatory guidelines and operating procedures as well as general bank operations related to the servicing of checking accounts, ATMs, and other bank services.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets via Microsoft Office products as well as custom applications and systems.
Excellent analytical, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment.

Leads branch performance and profitability, directing sales, service, and operations to align with organizational goals.
Manages, develops, and holds staff accountable, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and final issue resolution.
Ensures effective execution of branch relationships, sales management, operational integrity, and service excellence to maximize customer service; staff productivity, and operational efficiencies.
Ensures staff compliance with all regulatory, operational, and security policies and procedures.
Develops and manages profitable, multi-product relationships with individuals, small businesses, and small business management teams.
Calls on existing customers to deepen and enhance banking relationships based on client needs.
Partners with lending and LOB teams as a product knowledge expert.
Achieves and/or exceeds established branch performance and personal production goals; ensures that staff members meet established personal and production goals.
Manages branch expenses and operational efficiency to maximize profitability.
Oversees and drives branch relationship sales efforts, promoting staff referrals and fostering effective partnerships across lines of business.
Accountable for branch audit outcomes and reporting, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely completion of all requirements.
Approves customer overdrafts and other transactions in accordance with established authority levels/limits.
Resolves complex customer issues and ensures consistent delivery of high-quality service.
Manages branch facilities and ensures operational readiness.
Performs other duties as assigned.
