Job Summary
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Sous Chef / Line Cook, where your passion for food and leadership skills will elevate our dining experience to new heights. In this energetic role, you will assist in managing kitchen operations, oversee food preparation, and ensure exceptional quality and presentation. Your expertise in fine dining, food safety, and team management will drive smooth service during busy shifts, inspiring your colleagues and delighting our guests. Duties

Lead food preparation and cooking processes on the line, ensuring dishes meet high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency
Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance, training, and support to foster teamwork and efficiency
Manage inventory control and food production supplies to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
Oversee food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations across all kitchen activities
Assist with menu planning and recipe development to keep offerings innovative and aligned with guest preferences
Coordinate with catering and banquet teams to deliver seamless service for special events and large functions
Monitor kitchen operations during shifts, including time management, workflow organization, and maintaining cleanliness

Skills

Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments
Proven supervising or team management experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience working within dietary departments or specialized menus
Skilled in food handling, preparation, cooking techniques, and food service management
Experience with inventory management, inventory control, and food production planning
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of kitchen staff
Familiarity with catering operations, banquet service, and restaurant management principles
Strong understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and HACCP protocols
Excellent communication skills for effective shift management and team coordination
Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a high-volume environment

Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
