Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving operational excellence. As the cornerstone of our restaurant’s success, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure food safety standards, and uphold the highest levels of hospitality. Your leadership will inspire teams, optimize profitability, and foster a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a diverse team of restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, bartenders, and management personnel to deliver outstanding service.
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including food preparation, kitchen management, and customer service to ensure seamless service flow.
Manage inventory control, food safety compliance, and POS systems to streamline transactions and reduce waste.
Manage sales and inventory of the Cigar humidor and ensure selection meets customer preferences
Supervise shift management by coordinating staffing schedules, monitoring performance, and ensuring efficient workflow during peak hours.
Conduct staff training and development programs focusing on food handling, safety procedures, customer service excellence, and team leadership.
Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures, daily reconciliations, and financial reporting such as profit and loss analysis.
Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, hygiene practices, and adherence to health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment.
Implement marketing initiatives and special events like banquets or catering services to boost revenue streams.
Foster a positive hospitality environment by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring memorable dining experiences.

Experience

Proven management experience within quick service or fast food restaurant settings with a strong background in food industry operations.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen management including supervising culinary teams.
Hands-on experience with POS systems.
Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and managing profit & loss statements to maximize profitability.
Prior experience in hospitality management with a focus on team leadership, staff training & development, and customer service excellence.
Familiarity with food safety standards and certifications related to food handling and sanitation practices.
Experience overseeing casual dining or fine dining establishments with additional skills in catering or banquet services is highly desirable.
