Full Job Description

Our amazing Oral Surgery practice is seeking a dynamic individual to join our surgical assisting team. This position is 4 days a week. You would be working in SW Portland/Beaverton and you must have oral surgery experience as a dental assistant.

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more and do more. If you haven't worked in oral surgery but have always wanted to, and if you have experience as a dental assistant, we would love to meet you. We take pride in our office and in helping team members advance in their dental assisting careers.

If you have your X-RAY certification and at least one year experience as a dental assistant, along with a passion for learning oral surgery, we would love to meet you. EFDA is a plus, but not required. X-RAY certification is mandatory.

Wage: $29 to $33.

Location: SW Portland

Team: About 40 employees

Software: WINOMS

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Taking digital X-rays
2. Review the patient's health history during the initial consultation
3. Educate patients about procedures and post-operative instructions
4. Assist surgeons with chairside surgical procedures
5. Must be X-ray certified
6. BLS/ACLS certified
7. Excellent computer skills
8. Positive Attitude
9. Compassionate
10. Team player
