The Opportunity

Best Choice Roofing of Portland is a locally owned and operated franchise backed by the #4 largest residential roofing company in the US. We’re also the largest Owens Corning Platinum Preferred contractor in the country — five years running. That puts us in the top 1% of roofers nationwide.

We’re growing and hiring Sales Associates who want to build a real career — not just chase checks.

Our reps earned between $90,000 and $150,000 last year. That’s not a recruiting pitch — it’s what our team actually takes home.

The Comp — Let’s Be Straight

This is a commission-based role. We don’t bury that in fine print. What we do offer is everything that makes commission worth it: warm leads delivered to you through our canvassing engine, a proven 7-step sales process with a strong close rate, full benefits, and a dedicated PM handling production so you’re not babysitting jobs. You sell. We handle the rest.

Why This Role Is Different

You won’t be thrown to the wolves. We built a structured 2-week training program that teaches you our proven 7-step selling system from the ground up — classroom first, then field. You’ll learn each step, practice it, and get evaluated before you ever sit in a customer’s home alone.

Each step builds on the last. By the time you get to the close, the customer already trusts you, understands their problem, and sees the value. It works — and it’s repeatable.

Your first two weeks look like this:

Week 1 (Classroom): Learn the system, roleplay every step, get certified on proposals and financing, pass your assessment
Week 2 (Field): Shadow experienced reps, then progressively take over appointments using an observe → assist → co-lead → solo model

You’ll have ongoing weekly training sessions after that. We don’t stop investing in you after onboarding.

What We’re Looking For

Some experience in roofing, home improvement, solar, HVAC, or in-home sales is preferred (we’ll train the roofing-specific knowledge)
Self-motivated — you manage your calendar, your pipeline, and your hustle
Comfortable on a roof and in an attic for inspections
Able to sit with homeowners, present options, discuss financing, and close
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
A ladder and a cell phone
