Position Summary

Receives guidance and or direction, by following established workflows and procedures on routine work including ALL primary activities listed below. May also be responsible for other responsibilities, as applicable.

Primary Responsibilities

Take and resolve calls/emails from clients and or members, related to claims, billing, EOB and coverages
Process eligibility changes and or orders replacement ID cards within carrier or benefits administration system, to include Employee Navigator and Ease
Create activities and attach applicable documents within BenefitPoint, ensuring current and accurate data.

Other duties, as applicable

Support administrative work related to renewals, carrier implementation and BenefitPoint data.
Setup and maintain accurate account details, contacts, and policy information in BenefitPoint

Work Experience

Skilled in navigating and working within various benefits administration solutions (Employee Navigator and Ease) and carrier portals (eligibility, ID Cards, Salary and Address changes, etc.)
Proficient in BenefitPoint and workflows applicable to Small Business and support service work.

Professional Licenses/Certifications

License or obtaining state Life and Health insurance license

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent work experience would be considered

Physical Demands
Office work involves working at a desk most of the time, using a stand-up/sit-down adjustable desk. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Typing, grasping, and repetitive motion typically is required every day, and walking and standing are required occasionally.
