About Become Elite Soccer
Become Elite Soccer is a growing youth soccer organization focused on player development, honest feedback, and creating a positive environment where athletes can build confidence, improve their skills, and enjoy the game.
We offer competitive club teams, developmental clinics, summer and school-vacation camps, private training, tournaments, and community soccer programs throughout southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts.
We are seeking an energetic, creative, and dependable individual to join our team as a Social Media Coordinator and Club Soccer Coach. This position combines hands-on coaching with content creation and social media management. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading players on the field and creating engaging content that represents our programs, coaches, players, and club community.
Position Overview
The Social Media Coordinator and Club Soccer Coach will support Become Elite Soccer in two primary areas:
- Coaching club teams, clinics, camps, and private training sessions.
- Creating, organizing, and publishing social media content that highlights the club’s programs, players, coaches, events, and community involvement.
This is an hourly position with a flexible schedule that may include afternoons, evenings, weekends, school vacations, and summer programming. Weekly hours may vary depending on the soccer season, event calendar, and available coaching assignments.
Coaching Responsibilities
- Coach one or more youth club soccer teams based on experience, availability, and program needs.
- Plan and lead organized, age-appropriate, and engaging training sessions.
- Coach developmental clinics, camps, scrimmages, and seasonal programs.
- Provide individual or small-group private training sessions when scheduled.
- Create a positive, structured, and encouraging environment for players.
- Help players develop technical skills, tactical understanding, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Communicate professionally with players, parents, staff members, and club leadership.
- Arrive prepared and on time for all practices, games, clinics, camps, and events.
- Follow Become Elite Soccer’s player-development philosophy, policies, and coaching expectations.
- Assist with player evaluations, tryouts, placement sessions, and special events.
- Maintain appropriate supervision and prioritize player safety during all programming.
- Help set up and break down equipment when necessary.
- Represent Become Elite Soccer professionally at practices, games, tournaments, camps, and community events.
Social Media Responsibilities
- Capture photos and short-form videos during practices, games, clinics, camps, tournaments, and club events.
- Create engaging content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Develop posts, stories, reels, player highlights, coach features, program promotions, and event recaps.
- Write clear, upbeat, and professional captions that reflect Become Elite Soccer’s voice.
- Promote upcoming registrations, tryouts, camps, clinics, private training opportunities, tournaments, and special events.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule in coordination with club leadership.
- Help create a monthly or seasonal social media content calendar.
- Organize photos, videos, graphics, and other digital content.
- Monitor comments and messages and refer registration, customer-service, or sensitive questions to the appropriate staff member.
- Follow all club policies regarding player privacy, media releases, and appropriate youth sports content.
- Collaborate with coaches and administrative staff to identify upcoming programs and content opportunities.
- Track basic social media performance, including reach, engagement, views, and audience growth.
- Assist with simple graphics, flyers, announcements, and promotional materials as needed.
- Maintain a professional and positive online presence while representing the organization.
Qualifications
- At least 1–3 years of soccer coaching experience.
- Playing experience or a strong understanding of youth soccer.
- Experience creating social media content for a business, team, school, nonprofit, or organization.
- Comfortable taking photos and recording short-form video content.
- Strong written communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with children, parents, coaches, and staff.
- Dependable, punctual, flexible, and able to work independently.
- Positive attitude and a genuine interest in youth player development.
- Comfortable working with players of different ages and skill levels.
- Ability to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and during school-vacation or summer programs.
- Reliable transportation to practices, games, camps, and events throughout the local area.
- Ability to pass all required background checks and youth sports safety requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- United States Soccer Federation, United Soccer Coaches, or comparable coaching certification.
- CPR, AED, or First Aid certification.
- Experience coaching competitive youth club soccer.
- Experience using Canva or another graphic-design platform.
- Experience creating Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, or similar short-form video content.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools.
- Basic photo or video editing experience.
- Experience managing a business, athletics, school, or nonprofit social media account.
- Knowledge of youth soccer programming, tournaments, camps, clinics, and private training.
Schedule
This is a flexible, part-time hourly position. Hours may include:
- Weekday afternoons and evenings
- Weekend games and tournaments
- School-vacation camps
- Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall camps and clinics
- Private Lessons
- Occasional meetings, tryouts, community events, and promotional activities
The position may involve both scheduled weekly responsibilities and additional opportunities based on the candidate’s availability and the club’s programming needs.
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and based on coaching experience, certifications, social media experience, availability, and assigned responsibilities.
Additional coaching opportunities may be available through club teams, camps, clinics, tournaments, private lessons, and seasonal programming.
