Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Mitigation Technician to join our team in providing essential restoration services. The ideal candidate will have experience in fire and water damage restoration, mold remediation, and general mitigation work. This role involves hands-on tasks to restore properties affected by damage, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Prior restoration industry experience is highly valued, and a strong work ethic is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Perform demo and cleaning tasks related to fire, water, mold, and asbestos damage
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment to carry out restoration projects
Support the setup and breakdown of containment areas to prevent cross-contamination
Follow safety guidelines and IICRC industry standards throughout all mitigation activities
Document work performed and communicate progress with team members and clients as needed

Skills

Experience in structure and contents cleaning, fire restoration, water damage restoration, packing/moving, and mold remediation is preferred, but not necessary. We will train and get employee certified.
Knowledge of the restoration industry standards and procedures
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety compliance
Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks in various environments
Effective communication skills for teamwork and client interactions

This position offers an opportunity to develop skills within the restoration industry while contributing to important recovery efforts. Candidates should be prepared for hands-on work that requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and a commitment to quality service. IICRC certifications are helpful.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
