Reporting to Emergency Department leadership, the Nursing Emergency Room Unit Coordinator supports daily operations, patient registration processes, coordination of admissions and transfers, medical record management, and communication between clinical and ancillary departments. The Nursing Emergency Department Administrative Coordinator serves as a central hub of information, working closely with friendly nurses, emergency physicians, technicians, case managers, and a diverse interdisciplinary healthcare professional team. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a high-energy setting while ensuring patients and families feel welcomed and supported.
