Full Job Description

Pastry Cook - Full-Time

Falcons Landing is seeking an experienced Pastry Cook to join our outstanding Kitchen team. Located in Loudoun County, just west of Washington, DC, Falcons Landing is a first-class Life Plan Community and privately held not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing an exceptional work environment.

Our community includes residential homes, spacious apartments, and three high-quality healthcare residences, creating a dynamic and rewarding place to work.

What You’ll Do

Prepare pastries, desserts, and baked goods
Requisition bakery products as needed
Maintain production sheets and organized workspaces
Follow Falcons Landing recipes, freshness standards, and quality expectations
Assist with research and development of new menu items

What We’re Looking For

High degree of creativity, artistry, and innovation
Strong people skills with an organized, energetic approach
Minimum of 2 years of baking experience
Culinary arts, pastry, or baking certificate preferred
Knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices
Self-starter with a positive attitude
Flexibility to work varied schedules

Compensation

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
