Full Job Description

Architectural Modeling Specialist

Catalyst Experiential is looking for an experienced architectural renderer to join our development team as we expand throughout the East Coast. Catalyst redefined the physical form of communication by integrating visual communication technology with local landmarks, infrastructure, and community experiences. Working from our headquarters in Newtown Square, this position will support the team in developing 3D renderings that bring potential projects alive.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Provide original and insightful 3D architectural renderings of Catalyst projects
Work with the development team to understand community needs/wants in order to create 3D rendered environments that demonstrate how Catalyst can fulfill those needs
Incorporate designs into a full motion video environment using motion tracking capabilities
Conduct necessary research, including visiting the property site, taking photos, and documenting unique design elements of the surrounding environment
Work with architects and other technicians to complete the final product
Oversee before and after drone videography, videography, and photography of site and use to develop realistic visualizations of designs as well as highlight videos
Edit in-house product and marketing videos
Develop design specs and upload design concepts into 3-D “configurator”
Take in-house photography and videography when no budget exists for external vendors
Meet and exceed design timelines on a consistent basis

Requirements:

Proficient in AutoDesk 3ds Max and other 3D Software (i.e. Revit, Maya)
High degree of competence in rendering capabilities with Commercial/Residential real estate and/or architectural landscaping a plus
Outdoor Sculpture or “Community Art” rendering experience a plus
Possess strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
Must excel in a fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task proficiently
Competent photographer and videographer
Able to give and receive constructive criticism
Must be a self-starter and not require constant supervision
Must be willing to work beyond the 40-hour work week and respond to off-hours requests for assistance as needed
Candidate must also have his or her own source of transportation and a valid driver’s license
Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 2-5 years in a creative and collaborative team design environment
Portfolio of at least 5 rendered projects to showcase
Demonstrated ability to meet project goals on a regular basis
Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously
Strong organizational and time management skills
Comfortable with fast-paced and high growth environment
