We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Industrial Painter/Shop Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing a variety of metal components and equipment using industrial painting techniques. You will also assist with materials handling, fabrication support, and maintaining a safe, efficient shop environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in manufacturing and industrial processes while contributing to high-quality project outcomes.
· Perform spray painting duties as required.
· Maintain clean equipment and paint booth area.
· Maintain quality, precision, and safety by checking own work and paying attention to detail, with a clear understanding of customer requirements
· Complete required paperwork in a timely manner including marking up prints with corrections
· Ability to learn to read schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
· Aligns machines and equipment.
· Positions and clamp work pieces together or assemble them in jig or fixture.
· Ensure all safety policies are followed at all times.
· Operate forklift in a safe manner. (Will train if needed)
