Job Title: Wellness Engagement Manager
Type of Position: Part-time
Pay Range: $15.00–$20.00 per hour + commission
Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and results-oriented Wellness Engagement Manager to help grow our studio both inside the studio and throughout the local community.
This is a hybrid role designed to be approximately 50% Wellness Sales Associate / In-Studio Engagement and 50% Community Outreach, Pop-Ups & Events.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys connecting with people, is comfortable selling and educating customers about wellness services, and has the initiative to build relationships and create opportunities outside the studio.
Unlike a traditional front-desk position, this role requires someone who can proactively get into the community, develop local partnerships, identify event opportunities, represent the beem™ brand, and turn those relationships into measurable leads, appointments, and new customers.
Key Responsibilities
In-Studio Sales & Guest Experience – Approximately 50%
- Welcome members and guests with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
- Educate prospective and existing clients about infrared sauna, red light therapy, chromotherapy, memberships, packages, and current promotions.
- Drive membership and package sales through consultative selling and a strong understanding of client wellness goals.
- Conduct studio tours and help prospective clients determine which services and membership options best fit their needs.
- Follow up with leads and prospective members using the studio's internal systems.
- Manage front-desk responsibilities, including check-ins, scheduling, phone and email inquiries, and POS transactions.
- Build relationships with members and help create an exceptional in-studio experience that encourages retention and referrals.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the studio, including refreshing private suites between sessions, folding towels, and helping ensure the effortless flow of the studio.
- Promote retail products, new services, promotions, and special events.
- Support overall studio sales and performance goals.
Community Outreach, Pop-Ups & Events – Approximately 50%
- Proactively identify and develop relationships with local businesses, fitness studios, healthcare and wellness providers, apartment communities, employers, schools, community organizations, and other potential partners.
- Identify opportunities for beem™ to participate in local events, wellness fairs, community activities, corporate wellness initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
- Develop, coordinate, and host pop-up events designed to introduce prospective customers to beem™ and our wellness services.
- Represent beem™ professionally and enthusiastically at off-site events and community engagements.
- Educate event attendees about our services and convert interest into leads, appointments, trial visits, memberships, and packages.
- Generate and collect qualified leads from events and outreach activities and ensure timely follow-up.
- Maintain relationships with community partners to create repeat events, referral opportunities, and long-term partnerships.
- Assist with creating social media content highlighting events, partnerships, community engagement, and other grassroots marketing activities.
- Work with management to identify new grassroots marketing opportunities and develop strategies to increase local brand awareness.
- Track outreach activity, leads, appointments, conversions, and event results.
- Provide regular updates on outreach activity and performance against established goals.
Performance Expectations
Success in this position will be measured by both in-studio performance and community engagement results.
Performance expectations may include:
- Membership and package sales
- Lead follow-up and conversion
- Number of new community relationships developed
- Pop-ups and community events scheduled and completed
- Leads generated through outreach and events
- Appointments and studio visits generated from events
- Membership/package sales attributable to outreach
- Development of repeat events and referral partnerships
- Consistent achievement of established monthly outreach and sales goals
The Wellness Engagement Manager is expected to take ownership of developing outreach opportunities rather than relying solely on opportunities provided by management.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, community outreach, event planning, fitness, wellness, hospitality, or retail preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable approaching and building relationships with new people and businesses.
- Confident speaking with individuals and groups.
- Strong sales orientation with the ability to educate rather than pressure customers.
- Self-starter who can work independently and proactively identify opportunities.
- Organized and capable of managing multiple relationships, events, leads, and follow-up activities.
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable.
- Passionate about health, wellness, fitness, recovery, or helping others improve their well-being.
- Comfortable working both independently in the community and collaboratively with the studio team.
- Flexible schedule with availability for community events, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required for local events and outreach.
Ideal Candidate
You may be a great fit for this role if you are someone who:
- Naturally enjoys meeting and talking with new people.
- Is comfortable walking into a local business and introducing yourself and beem™.
- Enjoys networking and developing relationships.
- Can confidently represent a wellness brand at an event or community gathering.
- Has a sales mindset and enjoys working toward measurable goals.
- Doesn't need to be told where every opportunity is—you enjoy finding them.
- Can be equally effective selling a membership inside the studio and developing a new community partnership outside of it.

- Performance-based sales bonuses and incentives.
