We hire experienced professionals for roles in landscape maintenance, enhancements, snow operations, and field leadership and we are looking for an Landscape Construction Estimator to join our team.

PAY RANGE:
$70,000 - 80,000 annually

SHIFT:
This is Monday through Friday, weekends as needed for business needs, notably during snow season if necessary. This is a hybrid role with the person being located in the Northeast Region to visit branch sites.

ROLE SUMMARY:
Riverview Landscapes is seeking a Landscape Construction Estimator to join our growing team. Operating in the Construction branch of the company, the Landscape Construction Estimator will prepare accurate, timely and cost-effective estimates for commercial projects in landscape construction under the direction of the Construction Branch Manager. This role will review project documentation, including blueprints, contracts and specifications, while also analyzing pricing to provide accurate rates to clients. This role will frequently utilize Aspire, our contract management software. This role will work mostly from the office with occasional onsite visits with a company vehicle.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the estimating process for commercial landscape construction work, plantings, hardscape, seeding etc from start to finish
Analyze designs and complete take-offs for estimating purposes; handle multiple projects at once
Prepare accurate quotes to reflect each project’s unique costs and needs
Manage billing for landscape projects to reflect actual job progress
Contact vendors, subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes for inclusion in estimates along with head estimator; compare pricing and ensure accuracy
Manage and coordinate timelines for submittals and bids
Ensure project details are accurate across our contract management software Aspire; compare against cost histories
Collaborate frequently with operations teams on related projects and maintain open communicate with all stakeholders; conduct site visits as necessary
Provide an exceptional project management experience to our clients
Sell new jobs when needed and create long-term relationships with clients
Manage or help perform seasonal snow jobs

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

High School degree or higher education
1-3 years as landscape/construction estimator
1-3 years operation manager of landscape construction crews
Experience with contract management software; Aspire preferred
Aptitude for construction methods, materials, codes and regulations
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
